Sarah L. Cranston is an associate in the firm’s Estate and Trust Litigation Group as well as the Estate and Trust Services Department Group. She focuses her practice on assisting families and individuals with their estate and trust planning and administration matters, as well as protecting the interests of clients, including individuals, banks, and universities, though estate and trust litigation.
Sarah began practicing law after a career as a writer and editor for ten years. Sarah’s strong writing background contributes to her skill in communicating effectively and persuasively with clients, the courts and other counsel. Prior to joining Archer, Sarah was an associate at a well-respected boutique estate planning and litigation firm where she refined her planning and litigating skills. Sarah’s broad experience in estate planning informs her choices and advice when handling estate or trust litigation, and vice versa. She regularly confronts issues in court that are the result of poor planning or planning that was not honored, and can better help her clients strategize to avoid those same kinds of issues. Her experience as a planner informs the decisions she makes and the advice she gives as a litigator.
