Melissa Osorio Dibble Installed as President of the Estate and Financial Planning Council of Southern New Jersey

Archer attorney Melissa Osorio Dibble has been installed as President of the Estate and Financial Planning Council of Southern New Jersey (EFPCSNJ). Melissa was sworn in at the Council’s annual installation dinner, which was held on June 3 at LaScala Birra at Cooper River in Pennsauken, NJ. Melissa will serve a one-year term. Melissa is a longtime member and Officer of the Council having previously served as Secretary, Vice President, and 2nd Vice President for the Council.

Established in 1975, EFPCSNJ is a professional association of estate and financial planning practitioners in the region. The Council’s objectives include providing a better understanding of services members can render to the public, promoting awareness and use of financial planning through education, and promoting member interests through sharing of knowledge and expertise.

Melissa handles all varieties of probate, general equity, and Orphans’ Court matters, including will contests, breach of fiduciary duty actions, trust modifications, and matters involving the Uniform Prudent Management of Institutional Funds Act and the Slayer Statute. She has represented a variety of institutions and individuals, including banks, universities, executors, trustees, beneficiaries of estates and trusts, and intestate heirs. Melissa regularly speaks on recent developments in estate and trust litigation and has published articles on the doctrine of writings intended as wills and the Uniform Trust Code.
