Steven Mignogna Elected to Board of Regents of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel

Archer partner Steven K. Mignogna has been elected to the Board of Regents of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). Steve will serve an initial three-year term. The Board of Regents serves as the governing body of ACTEC. The College consists of approximately 2,600 Fellows from across the country, as well as international Fellows.

Steve serves as the Chair of Archer’s Estate and Trust Litigation Practice Group and focuses his practice on commercial litigation, with a concentration on probate matters, estates, fiduciaries, guardianships and real estate.

ACTEC is an invitation-only non-profit association of trust and estate lawyers who demonstrate the highest level of professionalism, integrity and experience. Fellows have made substantial contributions to the advancement of the trust and estate practice through lecturing, writing, teaching and participating in bar activities.

Along with serving on the Board of Regents, Steve is also New Jersey State Chair of ACTEC, as well as Chair of the Fiduciary Litigation Committee. Steve is also active in the Professional Responsibility Committee, Program Committee, Joint Task Force of ACTEC and the National College of Probate Judges, and Advisory Committee to ACTEC’s Mid-Atlantic Fellows Institute.

Aside from ACTEC, Steve also serves on the Advisory Committee of the Heckerling Institute and is active in the American Bar Association (ABA), where he has held several leadership roles in the ABA’s Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section, including serving as Chair of the Litigation, Ethics and Malpractice Group.

In 2020, the Camden County Bar Association named Steve as the Camden County Professional Lawyer of the Year. Steve has also been honored with the Distinguished Service Award by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education.
