Steven Mignogna is Lead Author on Estate and Trust Litigation Treatise

Archer partner Steven K. Mignogna has led a team of Archer attorneys and contributing editors from other firms in publishing Estate and Trust Litigation, the fully updated fourth edition of the authoritative text on New Jersey probate litigation. Published by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education (NJICLE), the treatise has long been a trusted resource for Surrogates, Probate Judges and attorneys across the state and region.

A nationally recognized authority on estate and trust litigation, Steven chairs Archer’s Estate and Trust Litigation Practice Group. He is the principal author of previous editions and related publications, and is a frequent, highly regarded speaker in the field.

The fourth edition introduces a comprehensive new chapter on the Settlement of Estate & Trust Disputes, along with downloadable forms and documents for immediate use. It also features extensive updates on case law, statutes, and court rules, providing practitioners with the tools they need to effectively prepare for and litigate estate matters.

Steven focuses his practice on commercial litigation, including disputes involving probate, estates, trusts, gifts, fiduciaries, guardianships, and real estate. With decades of experience, he has represented both institutions and individuals in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels.

Steven serves on the Advisory Committee of the Heckerling Institute. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), where he has held multiple leadership positions, including State Chair for New Jersey, member of the Board of Regents, and Chair of the Fiduciary Litigation Committee.
