Jordan Fischer Appointed Co-Chair of Philadelphia Bar Association Women in the Profession Committee’s Public Service Task Force

Jordan L. Fischer, an attorney with Archer & Greiner P.C., was recently appointed Co-Chair of the Public Service Task Force of the Women in the Profession (WIP) Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association.

The task force provides opportunities for members to work with other women attorneys on events and programs that help and support females in the legal profession, as well as the community at large. The task force concentrates on public service projects of the WIP Committee, which focuses on issues related to the careers and advancement of women in the practice of law in the Philadelphia area. WIP monitors existing conditions and trends, conducts special programs, and makes recommendations to help achieve its goals, including model workplace policies on matters such as pregnancy leave and sexual harassment.

Ms. Fischer practices in Archer & Greiner’s Estate and Trust Litigation Group in the firm’s Philadelphia office as well as at its Haddonfield, N.J., location. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Delaware and her law degree, summa cum laude, from the Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law. During law school, Ms. Fischer served on the Board of the International Law and Human Rights Society as well as on the Board of the Drexel Law Review as the Symposium Editor.  After graduating, she completed a clerkship for Vice-President Koen Lenaerts of the Court of Justice of the European Union in Luxembourg, the European Union’s highest court in matters of European Union law.
